LARGEST USED CLOTHES COLLECTION

The World Record of “LARGEST USED CLOTHES COLLECTION” for donation is achieved by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur, Rajasthan, India on 13th April, 2018.

Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar took this initiative to fulfill the need of clothes for the underprivileged people of the society. He with the team of 1700 volunteers, 120 schools, 20 colleges, 23 organisations and 80 drop points collected used clothes from across the globe. Out of which total 3,60,500 wearable clothes were segregated from the non-wearable clothes.

The Campaign flagged off on 15th January,2018 and ended on 8th April, 2018. After three months of campaign, it took 6 days from 8th April to 13th April 2018 by the team and witnesses to count and segregate the wearable clothes. On the last day of attempt, all the used clothes were donated by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar by himself to the reputed and experienced organisations.
