Dr. Ranjini Kaushik is an experienced Biotechnologist and social entrepreneur from Newbury Park, California, USA, and founder of the non-profit SciArtsRUs. She has created global platforms for artists with disabilities and cross-culture artists globally including over 400 individuals who are blind, deaf, autistic, or physically challenged, promoting inclusion in the performing arts across India, USA, Rwanda, Uganda, Malawi, and the UK. She has curated inclusive festivals, organized one of India’s first sign language choirs featuring over 200 children, curated unique programs at the interface of science and arts and helped many artists gain mainstream recognition and livelihoods. Her work has been featured in over 90 newspaper and reviews worldwide, and she has received multiple awards, including the Woman of the Year Award (USA), citations from a US Senator, 4 Proclamations from various cities and recognition from the Governor of Tamil Nadu, India. She continues to advance technological innovations in music to support hard of hearing, deaf and blind individuals and remains dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the arts through her non-profit.
