The World Record of "MOST PARTICIPANTS PARTICIPATED IN A BEACH CLEANUP DRIVE IN A SINGLE DAY - SINGLE VENUE" was achieved by VASAI VIRAR CITY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, GO SHOONYA AND NSS CELL (UNIVERSITY OF MUMBAI) on 21st September 2024 from Thane (Maharashtra) India. They organized an activity in which 15,310 volunteers participated on the occasion of International Coastal Cleanup Day at Rajodi beach clean-up drive and broke the previous record of 6,726 volunteers and has set a new world record for International Book of Records.
