The World Record for “MOST PEOPLE PERFORMED RIVER RAFTING AT THE HIGHEST ALTITUDE (GROUP)” was achieved by 23 GRENADIERS (INDIAN ARMY) on 14th July 2025 from Ladakh, India. A group of 13 members led by Major Sanjay Adhikari, successfully undertook river rafting on the freezing waters of the Shyok River from Sultan Chusku to Galwan at an altitude of 14,500 feet and has set a new world record for International Book of Records.
