The World Record for “YOUNGEST BLACK BELT HOLDER IN SHOTOKAN KARATE” was achieved by R. AZHAGU NACHIYAR on 23rd November 2025 from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. 5 years, 1 month, and 15 days old R. Azhagu Nachiyar, a student of Jap Shotokan Karate Do India, is the youngest black belt holder in Shotokan Karate, breaking the previous record of a 5-year-1-month-26-day-old kid and has set a new world record for International Book of Records.
