Tarun Sharma is a karate athlete from Khanna, Punjab, India. His extraordinary journey stands as an inspiration to aspiring Indian karate athletes on the international stage. He secured a Silver Medal at the prestigious Asian Karate Championships, becoming the first karate athlete from India and South Asia to win medals at four consecutive editions of the continental championship. His achievements include five consecutive championship medals, comprising a Silver Medal in 2022, a Bronze Medal in 2023, two Gold Medals at the Commonwealth Championship in 2024, a Gold Medal in 2025, and a Silver Medal in 2026. In recognition of his exemplary achievement, International Book of Records proudly confers upon him the “APPRECIATION AWARD” on 1st July 2026
