Mihir Karmakar, a dedicated social worker from Murshidabad, West Bengal, India, has been tirelessly serving communities since 2019. While working as a Block Development Officer, he provided crucial support during the COVID-19 pandemic by distributing essential supplies like food, clothing, and medicine.
After the pandemic, he continued his efforts by promoting education among students. He distributed books and copies to encourage learning and also arranged prosthetic limbs, including wooden feet and hands, for handicapped individuals. Additionally, he offered free coaching to youth to enhance their job prospects. His selfless work and commitment to social welfare earned him recognition, and he was selected for the prestigious 'Bharat Ka Maharathi' award in 2023 by IBSEA.
Thus, International Book of Records acknowledges his contribution in the society and proudly announces the "INSPIRING HUMAN AWARD" on 5th June 2025.
